His lyricism has the ability to encompass diverse subjects such as relationships and the state of his generation. After teasing fans with a few tracks, he released his debut solo mixtape A Portrait of Donnovan. Featuring production from Harry Fraud, Grammy award winner Emile Haynie as well as guest verses from fellow Brooklyn representatives Joey Bada$$, CJ Fly and the late Capital STEEZ (R.I.P.), this project is shaped up to be an impressive solo introduction.
