While no stranger to economic hardship, having grown up in a fatherless household as a child, Manhattan emcee ANTHM has proven that success can be achieved through hard work and determination. While studying at Duke University, he transitioned from written prose and poetry to emceeing, eventually graduating and placing his hip-hop dreams on hold to be a stock trader on Wall Street. Recently manufacturing buzz in the blogosphere with cover’s of A$AP‘s mega-conglomeration “1-Train” and Joey Bada$$‘ “Waves,” ANTHM finally released his latest digital offering earlier this week, titled Handful of Dust. This EP is solely produced by underground-great Blu GODleeBarnes and, in my opinion, the strongest EP to be released in 2013 so far.
