The Chicago videography scene is dominated by superstars. The likes of DGainz, Austin Vesely, Young Wonder and Elijah Alvarado seemingly have a monopoly on new videos that come out. What’s even more astonishing, however, is when a local up & comer takes a risk on a relatively unknown director. Dally Auston took this risk, choosing Andrew Straw to shoot the first single off of his project The Wood, “99 Cent.” The risk couldn’t have paid off more. Featuring animations by O.J. Hays, this joint carefully walks the line between ferocious and relaxed, and Auston’s flow fits perfectly into that mold. Check out the video above and check out his project which came out last week.
