A day ago, Common took to his Twitter account and tweeted he was going to be releasing some “RAW” material at halftime of the BCS National Championship game. As promised, Common delivered “War,” which was produced by No ID, and the Chicagoans do not disappoint. Common addresses the current state of Chicago with it’s never ending violence as well as wanting to put a halt on the disgusting name people have been giving the city, “Chiraq.” The track comes out right after Common announces his new album for this year, Nobody Smiling, which is being produced entirely by No ID. Listen to the track below and let us know what you think!
