Kevin Durant has been on a tear as of late, scoring 30+ points in 13 of his last 15 games, a run which included a 54-point outburst against the Warriors. OKC’s 10-game win streak was finally broken in Washington on Saturday, so it’s fitting that Nike should drop a shoe that pays homage to KD’s hometown shortly thereafter. Building off previous DMV-themed colorways such as the “Maryland Blue Crab” and the “Seat Pleasant,” which arrived in July and November, respectively, Nike is now set to release the KD VI “DC.” The new model is essentially an American Flag in shoe form; featuring a colorway of Light Crimson/Obsidian-Light Beige Chalk-Light Lucid Green, these kicks are about as patriotic as it gets. Cop these when they drop online and in stores nationwide on Thursday, February 6th.
