This week’s most alliterative track comes from Chicago emcee Saba (you may remember him from Chance The Rapper‘s “Everybody’s Something”) of Pivot Gang.  Saba’s been relatively quiet recently, and hasn’t dropped much music since his freshman project, Get Comfortable, which dropped back in December of 2012.  Regardless, his progression and hard work is evident.  Playing shows seemingly every weekend in Chicago has crafted Saba into one of the best performers I’ve personally seen, especially in a time when so many artists lack an interesting stage presence.  His newest single, “Secondhand Smoke,” is just the tip of the iceberg for what I feel like is going to be a massive spring for the West Side, Chicago native.

You can buy tickets to see Saba alongside Frank Leone, Mick Jenkins, and Klevah at the Canopy Club on April 3rd here.
